So, we got home last night late from NC and had nothing to eat in our poor kitchen cupboards today but I dreamt up a really great meal (with some inspiration from my Real Simple magazine)
I took a can of Chicken and Rice Chunky soup, a can of stewed tomatoes (undrained), a can of black beans (drained and rinsed), 1/3 of a carton of Chicken stock that I had in my fridge and a handful of frozen corn... oh, and a healthy dose of hot sauce.
Heated the soup up on the stove top and we had a short cut Tortilla soup!
Topped our bowls with a squeeze of lime (had one in the fridge thankfully cause that's my fav part of Tortilla soup), grated sharp cheddar cheese and sour cream.
DELISH.
Dint take any pics as we were super hungry and I was skeptical but I think I like my short cut version of Tortilla soup than the one that I usually make (plus I didn't have to cook any chicken or cut up any veg and it was ready in 10 mins- awesome)
I think this would even be great as a veg option using a veg and rice Chunky soup... but the husband likes to see the meat in his bowl. :)

Christmas Holiday Memories
So, this is our last night in North Carolina and tomorrow we venture on our trip back home... hopefully it is nothing like the trip here... We traveled all day and it was pretty horrible, SO many delayed flights and grouchy people so it wasn't very fun. Also, our luggage was lost so we dealt with that and it didn't end up coming till about 11 o'clock on Christmas Eve... very stressful and annoying. Christmas morning we opened our stockings, had an AMAZING breakfast and spent the entire morning opening presents. It was so much fun and I got some incredible gifts, I was a very spoiled/blessed/lucky girl. Some of my favorites were the Willow Tree Nativity set which I have wanted for years and years, a personalized Starbucks card with my name on it and instead of a picture there is what is on the side of a Starbucks cup with my favorite drink written like they do at Starbucks so I just have to hand them the card and they make my drink, know my name and everything... its also a perfect solution for when I send my husband in to get me my drink because he never remembers what I like AND my gift giver was very generous with how much they put on the card :) I also got some really cool hand made stone wear cups, a really cool mug called a hand warming mug, its shaped like an upside down bell and doesn't have a handle instead it has a space where you slip in your hand and it keeps your hand warm... sort of have to see it to understand.... Also got a gift card to old navy and got some really great stuff while I have been here during some boxing day shopping :) Lots of fun stuff the baby too. Had a fabulous dinner that night with the fam, Mom made the most amazing turkey and alllll the fixins. Have had some great times spending lots of quality time with family, had a girls day with my husbands Mom and my sister in law Anya ( went for coffee, shopping, lunch at my favorite place down here, Panera Bread, pedicures (a Christmas gift from me to them) and out for ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery (yum!) Spent ALOT of time with my nephew, hes grown so much since we were here in July and has learned so many new "tricks"- too cute. Spent alot of time with friends down here, having games nights and watching movies etc, went to my in-laws church which I LOVE, went out for some great meals (probably ate way too much) OH and also enjoying the AMAZING weather down here... loving the 'jacketless Christmas' as we call it. I am NOT ready to face the miserable weather back home but am so looking forward to being back in my house and cuddling with my puppy. I feel like I learned alot this Christmas, we watched The Nativity... a VERY well done Christmas story film which I think was done last year. It was a beautiful movie and I took more away than I thought I would. What I took away the most was how persecuted Mary and Joseph were (and everyone else living in those times) with Harrod ruling and destroying peoples lives, killing their babies and also the significance of the Three Kings in the story, never really thought about the gifts that they brought Jesus and how much they really meant but knowing how rough Mary and Joseph had it with no money and everything how their gifts allowed them to survive really. Just some things about the Christmas story that stuck out to me that I never really noticed... how lucky we are to not be living in times of persecution like they did and how lucky we are to have everything we need and the beauty in the generosity of others. Anyways, it was a great holiday and I hope that everyone elses holiday was as blessed as mine was.

We are packing!!
Christmas (over the past 4 years) to me = travelling! We switch each year between my family in BC and Jo-Ben's family in NC (North Carolina) So every year around this time we are packing... I figure since we will probably never spend an actual Christmas at home as long as we are living in Alberta that justifies me putting up the tree super early so we get a chance to enjoy it! (makes sense no?) Anyways as of right now our living room floor is covered with our stuff and suitcases, making sure we have 'everything'. fun times. hahaha not my favorite part of the trip... an even worse part though is coming home... somehow every time it takes us like an entire week to empty out the suitcases and they end up sitting in the front hall, at the top of the stairs, in the living room or on our bedroom floor (usually in that order) for at least a few days. So, today is packing day and I am cleaning the house so its nice and clean when we come home... its a little less stressful after a full day of travelling to come home to a nice clean house (hopefully the dog sitters leave it the way I left it) This morning we slept in and had an awesome breakfast of banana pancakes, maple something or other breakfast sausages and eggs (Jo-Ben's over well and mine sunny side up!... not easy making a breakfast for two and having everything ready at the same time when we both like our eggs so differently let me tell you!) Apparently today is 'sports day' according to Jo-Ben... there are college and pro football games, soccer games and a hockey game on today so he has declared it sports day... as my mom said, when ISN'T it sports day in Jo-Ben's world... I don't know. I don't mind having a sports day though cause that means he stays out of my hair while I clean and we don't have to go out in the -33 weather...fine by me! Oh cute story, Joey the dog has a new habit... since we have that ice and snow building up on the inside of our windows he likes to go to the back french doors that have the windows that come all the way down to the bottom and lick and chew the ice and snow off of them... its pretty cute. Hes a funny dog & were sure going to miss him for the week we are gone! Poor guy doesn't know whats commin to him. ANYWAYS, I should get to finishing packing and cleaning... haven't found our camera as of late so no preggo pics but I am most certain that there will be a TON of pics taken this coming week so I will post when I get back! Hope everyone has a holly, jolly Christmas!!!
PS- almost less than 100 days left of my pregnancy, almost in the double digits!! wow! Its hard to believe because we have been trying so hard and waiting so long for this to happen and now I am going into my last trimester... its pretty mind blowing.

Listen up BC people!
Disclaimer!!!
I am venting in this post and if you are from BC or live in BC I still love you, even though your a wuss.
OK, so apparently its cold in BC right now... at least that's what I hear from everyone that I have spoken to on the phone in the last day or so. I get it, I grew up in BC and lived there for over 22 years...I know it gets cold there but it DOESN'T get as cold as it gets here in central Alberta. This I KNOW from personal experience of surviving the last 3 winters here. (I am accepting a cyber pat on the back from all of you right now)
Well, wanna know what I say? wah wah wah. booooooo hooooooo.
Here is an *almost* exact convo between me and my mum last night:
Amanda: Hey! hows it going?
Mom: Its cold! (in a perfect whiny voice only Mom can do and that only my sister and I can replicate)
Amanda: oh, come on! how cold is it?
Mom: -30!
Amanda: what!? -30?!
Now at this point Jo-Ben was in the other room listening in and on the computer goes directly to weathernetwork.com At this point my Mom didn't know it but she was CAUGHT.
Mom and I continue talking about the weather, how deathly cold it is in the valley right now, the power went out, she went to costco with a friend because there was nothing to do since the power went out and almost blew RIGHT over... sooooo dramatic, blah blah blah.
I just listened and smiled. All of a sudden Jo-Ben pipes up... ITS ONLY -4 there and with the wind chill it might feel like -14!!! WUUUSSSYYYYYYYS!
Mom refused to believe it... the WEATHER NETWORK.. she COULD NOT believe it. She swore up and down that it felt like -30.
I told her to try to come out to Alberta for a week. We have actually been hovering around -25 as an average with wind chills that make it feel like -35 for a week now. COMMEON!!!! I'm getting a little sick and tired of it but when all of you wussy BCers tell me its too cold there when its -4. omg.
As I said in the beginning of my post, I still love my Mom, I still love all you BCers but stop complaining about the 'cold' people!!! When you have ice forming on the insides of your windows (ya know, like how they try to make it look like with the fake snow in a can) OR it hurts to breathe as soon as you step outside and you start coughing like crazy because you forgot and breathed through your mouth in that first breath OR you have to plug in your car in over night in order to start it the next day... THEN you can start complaining to me!

Saturday Stuff
This morning I made Saturday brunch, kind of a tradition in our house to have a good brunch on one day of the weekend... sometimes both! :) So I was in the Dr's office yesterday and I saw this recipe for Huevos Rancheros made in these cute little tortilla cups and when I came home I tried to find the recipe online (should have just ripped it out of the magazine, don't tell me you've NEVER don't that before) So, I couldn't find the right recipe and then I tried to think of which magazine I found it in and I thought I think it MIGHT have been Chatelaine so I went straight to the website, clicked on the 'food' icon and on the front 'page' of that area of the website was my recipe being featured! best moment ever. hahaha. So I'm going to post a link to the page here:
http://recipes.chatelaine.com/recipe2/article.jsp?recipeId=10241
REALLY good recipe but I had to cook the eggs about twice as long as they suggested... maybe if I would have put foil on top it would have concentrated the heat or something but I didn't have any...
which brings me to where I just was... I did end up venturing out today. I went to FIELDS!! yay! hahaha, I remember when there was a Fields in Abbotsford and Mom used to take us there all the time when we were little... as I got older I HATED going there... I don't know why, I guess it wasn't cool or something. Anyways, we have a Fields in our little town and sometimes that's the only place I can go to get things. Jo-Ben has been complaining about these shower hooks we have on our shower curtains ever since I got them a year ago... they are silver and classy looking but they catch when you try to open the shower curtain so I had to go get those plastic hoop shower curtain rings... gotta keep my man happy :) haha... I guess now that we are starting a family its time to throw out classiness for functionality... uuugghhh.
I also stopped off at the IGA, I have been craving yogurt lately and its funny because during my entire pregnancy I have been craving sour and salty things and sweet things have made me feel sick (except chocolate of course... especially when its in the form of Nutella on a spoon with peanut butter heehee) Anyways, I tried this fat free yogurt the other day because they are usually way less sweet than the ones like say Dannon Creamy which is usually the kind I love but it was perfect because of my weird pallate so I had to go to the store to get some more... I also bought a rotisserie Chicken for dinner because I am making this Indian Chick Pea Stew for dinner and its vegetarian which I love but the guys will be like where the heck is the meat?! so I figure they can shred the chicken into their stew if they want too. I'm too good to them... whatever.
Right now, I am watching this special that has clips of the Johnny Cash show and I'm lovin it... reminds me of my Uncle Jake or long car rides with my Dad... so many awesome guests... I was just belting out 'Stand by Your Man' ... wonder what the tenants downstairs are thinking :) Crazy Pregnant lady hahaha.
Well, its -24 out and with the wind chill feels like -35 according to the weather network so I better start on dinner cause the boys are going to be freeeeeeeezing when they get in from work... hoping to go to church tomorrow but might have to get a ride from one of the boys downstairs because in this weather I am determined to go from warm house to warm car to warm building if Im going anywhere. :)
oh! I'm also going to post a link to a Christmas craft that I am going to attempt tonight, I think it looks like a cute little something to attach to Christmas presents.

The weekend is here!!
Its a very blustery day out today... went to the Dr. for a check up- all looks well other than the fact that I have a geographical tongue... if you don't know what that looks like then google it. Its weird. Apparently its caused by a low immune system or out of control hormones which I have both because of the little babe growing inside of me. Its also caused by stress which I don't feel like I have but who knows... apparently its genetic so Ill have to ask my mom about it. :) Anyways it looks like a weird white patch on my tongue that looks like a Continent or something... that's why they call it a geographical tongue... needless to say my husband thought that mold was growing on my tongue or something and stays about 10 ft away from me... My Dr. wrote him an official Dr's note that says that he is allowed and encouraged to kiss me b/c my tongue is NOT contagious. I can't wait to give it to him. :) After I went to the Dr's I went to the grocery store since I was out... It was pretty crazy there because the weather forecast for the weekend says that tomorrow is going to be -23 and Sunday is apparently going to be -27 ... I (like most people in Three Hills apparently) are not planning on going out in that weather AT ALL this weekend so all of the necessities were stocked up on. I just got off the phone with Jo-Ben, hes busy working in the blizzard and I am stoaked to have a hot dinner ready for him and his helper, James (hes a good friend of both of ours & lives in Prince George so he is staying with us for now while hes working for Jo-Ben0, when they get home from work. I'm watching Oprah, shes interviewing Tom Cruise, pretty interesting. Anyways, I should get going and get some things done before my guys get home
:)
Have a good weekend friends!

Recipe review and edit
So, we had company over after church yesterday and I served the soup and sandwiches... I ended up making pinwheels out of the entire loaf of bread and it was so nice because I rolled them up, put them on a baking sheet and they were all ready at the same time (unlike if you make grilled cheeses and have to make a couple at a time) AND they were SO cute, everyone was ooing and ahhing over them... the soup was awesome too especially with the extra cheddar on top! hehehe... even joben loved it and if he eats something that doesn't have meat in it (the soup) hes usually asking wheres the meat? but the deli meat in the sandwiches were enough I guess... also this recipe is super afrodable which is awesome for a meal that impresses! OH one thing, when you are making the sandwiches, after you have cut off the crusts you place two pieces of bread so that one is slightly over the other and roll them so they smush TOGETHER... I just read the recipe and it wasnt quite clear.

some quilt fabrics that I chose for the baby quilt
Found this swatch of fabric samples online and most of these fabrics are ones that I chose for the quilt that my aunt it making me so I thought I would share it with you all and see what you think! I think its a good balance between feminine and masculine and its not to cheesy babyish or themey, I obviously really like it :) What do you think?
VERY good soup and sandwich recipe and a survey
Soooooo, I saw this recipe on the Rachel Ray show (which I can only watch for the last 15 mins because I find her VERY annoying but her meal ideas are so good) One day this past week I saw her make this Cauliflower Cheddar soup and Pinwheel sandwich dippers. I am changing up the recipe a bit but its pretty much the same so I am going to post it here!
Bring a couple of inches of water to a boil, add cauliflower, salt and cook until tender. Drain, puree and reserve.
Place a large saucepan over medium-high heat with 2 turns of the pan of EVOO, about 2 tablespoons. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and melt, then add the onion and garlic, season with salt and pepper, and cook until tender, 4-5 minutes.
Sprinkle the flour over the onions and cook for about 1 minute. Whisk in the stock and milk, bring up to a bubble, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes. (I just eyeballed the amount of stock and milk, I used a whole carton of stock and free poured the milk, I also used 2% milk cause thats what I had!)
While the soup is simmering, place the bread slices on the counter, cut the crusts off and roll them flat with a rolling pin, a can or a wine bottle (whatever's handy). Spread each piece of bread with 1 tablespoon or so of mustard then line each with 2 slices of ham, folding over or trimming the ham as necessary so that it doesn't hang over the edge of the bread. (after placing the deli meat on the bread I also put a piece of Havarti on each, on the show she put some of the grated Cheddar on the sandwiches and I think that they forgot to mention that in the recipe) Starting at the long side of each slice, tightly roll the bread up into a log shape.
Melt a couple of tablespoons of butter. Place the roll-ups onto a baking sheet and brush the outsides with melted butter. Bake until toasty, about 7-8 minutes. (im thinking that its at 350, havent baked up the pinwheels yet so we will see how it goes!)
To finish the soup, whisk the cheese into the liquid, stirring until all the cheese has melted. Stir in cauliflower puree then turn off heat and stir in 2 tablespoons of mustard and the nutmeg. Adjust seasonings, adding salt and pepper to taste. (at this point I also added small floretts that I cut off of a head of Broccoli, I didn't want them to be too mushy so I am going to let them cook in the soup)
To serve, slice the pinwheel roll-ups on a very sharp bias, almost from end-to-end, making two pointy dippers to serve with the soup. Top each bowl with some of the chopped chives for garnish. (also dont have chives but will top with more grated Cheddar FOR SURE)
towards the end of making the soup I decided that there werent enough broc floretts so I took the stocks that I reserved and chopped them up, steamed them for a bit because they are more woody and tough than the floretts and put them in the soup too! they provided more substance to the soup.
I have tasted the soup and its delish! I can't wait to bake up the pinwheels. This recipe is SO simple but actually looks pretty impressive when its all said and done, can't wait to make this for a Sunday lunch when we have friends over or somthing... its a very cute meal.

- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, grated or finely chopped
- Pepper
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 quart chicken stock
- 1 cup whole milk or half-and-half
- 4 slices pumpernickel sandwich bread (we didnt have this in our store so I just used regular Ancient Grains Bread and it worked)
- 8 deli slices rosemary ham (I used Cajun deli Chicken)
- 6 tablespoons spicy brown mustard, divided (I used Dijon and Grainy)
- 2 1/2 cups good quality, aged, sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- A few grates of nutmeg
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
Preparation
Pre-heat oven to 375ºF.Bring a couple of inches of water to a boil, add cauliflower, salt and cook until tender.

BC trip details
(note: Started this post last Monday... lost motivation but finally finished it today (the 6th)!)
Well, I'm back in blustery Alberta. Got in late last night and slept for about 10 1/2 hours... this week was jam packed full of visits and fun times with family and friends so I needed a good sleep to recoup. Today I am doing a massive clean of the house and starting to organize things in the 'baby room' aka room that we throw all of our crap that we aren't using to get ready to go out and buy the baby furniture later this week. Now that I have literally a ton of baby clothes and blankets and everything I am really excited to get furniture to store it in. My mom sent us home with a truck load of stuff that she has hoarded for the baby, so fun to start making it 'real' Our house has officially been invaded. My bump is growing faster now which is so fun to see... I gained a couple of lbs over the week and a half that I was in BC... sure glad I don't live there permanently, I would be a pretty hefty preggers lady I think. Not that I deprive myself at home or anything but my mom and aunts etc. cook and bake SOOOOO well... hard not to indulge. So Ill give you a run down on my visit in BC:
Friday morning we arrived and took a taxi from the abby airport to my brother in laws work and borrowed his car. Went to visit my mom and sister at work and show off the bump which they had not seen in person yet. Went to Rebecca and Josh's house to drop off our stuff, because my dad wasn't sposed to know that we were there till we surprised him at his party we stayed over at my sister and brother in laws place to 'hide'. Joben and I went to visit our friend Anna and her new 5 week old twin boys, we both got to hold and feed one, so adorable and I even learned a thing or two! When Rebecca and Josh were done work we headed out to Uncle Herb and Auntie Lorrines for pizza night- so fun to see a bunch of cousins and the new baby Ty who we had never met before (my cousin Joeys son) After dinner us cousins headed out to my cousin Angela and Avens house for a Thiessen cousin movie night so fun to see so many fam on our first night there. After movie night we went back to R & Js place and had a brother sister Christmas time, lit some Christmas scented candles and exchanged gifts... kinda funny but we aren't going to be in BC for Christmas this year so we decided to do our own thing.
Saturday morning went out with Rebecca and Mom to do some grocery shopping (went to
Remples Meats and got myself some of the best farmer sausage in the world to take back to Alberta, a must when I go visit home) It was really funny hanging out with Mom while dad did his regular Saturday stuff not knowing Jo-Ben and I were there, so sneaky. Sat evening we went out with our good friends Jesse and Lori for dinner at White Spot (gotta have a Legendary burger when you are out there too!) The dropped us off after dinner at my Uncle George's place where my Dads 50th surprise party was... we decided to surprise him after he had been surprised by the party so that it was like a double surprise, it was so cool- he had NO idea that we were coming and when he saw us he lit up and was so excited. There were a ton of friends and fam at his party and it was SO much fun, he was overjoyed and felt really appreciated I think so mission accomplished. That night we stayed over at R & Js because all of our stuff was still there.
Sunday morning Rebecca made an AMAZING breakfast and Jo-Ben snuck out to get some Venti Starbucks Christmas drinks for all of us. It was so great hanging out with my sis and bro in law and just spending quality time together as us kids. after breakfast we went over to mom and dads to hang out and mom made a huge Turkey late lunch (because it was Christmas after all hahaha) Rebecca and I decided to make that weekend a Christmas weekend so we kept saying things like 'wow, i cant believe stores are open on Christmas day' (which was Saturday because we opened presents on Friday night 'Christmas Eve' OR 'hmmmm not very good deals considering its boxing day' hahaha my mom thought it was pretty funny. Sunday night we hung out with our friends Rob and Kelsey at their house.
Monday was Jobens last day in BC and we went out to Costco with Mom (one of jobens prime objectives of the trip because he was determined to find this specific blanket that is THE softest blanket in the world- thankfully he found it) We went out for lunch for Vietnamese food right by my parents house because its our favorite and we have to do it when we go visit. Spent the afternoon shopping and hanging out and after a family dinner at mom and dads complete with dad and josh we brought joben to the airport. He had to come home early to get back to work.
Monday night Rebecca, Josh and I set up their Christmas tree and hung out at their place.
Tuesday I woke up and Mom and Dad were both at work, Auntie Debby and Uncle Peter came by and picked me up and I went material shopping with Auntie Deb who is making a quilt for baby boy Barkey. It was so fun and I love love love the fabrics I picked out... its going to be beautiful. Rebecca and I headed out to Richmond for a late lunch with Auntie Katie and Uncle Frank. After lunch we had a nice visit and also went for a SUPER long Auntie Katie style walk, it was a gorgeous day and so much fun. Rebecca and I went to visit Gramps and Grandma this afternoon too I think. Later that night we had dinner with mom and dad and joshy.
Wednesday Rebecca came and picked me up for breakfast at her house, Josh had the day off so the three of us hung out, went out for Malaysian food at Panang (if you go there get the crispy orange beef) The three of us hung out that afternoon but I cant quite remember what we did...that night had dinner at the parents again and then with off with Mom for another tour of CostCo and Winners but we were specifically looking for baby stuff so that was fun.
Thursday .....hmmmmmm I'm blanking here... I know that Rebecca and I went shopping during the day and also went to visit John, Heather and Carter and then they came over to Mom and Dads for supper... and we watched a movie at Rebecca and Josh's place later...
Friday Rebecca, Dad and I went to our cousins opas funeral in the morning and had lunch there, that afternoon I hung out with Dad till Josh got off of work and then Rebecca, Josh and I went to A. Deb and U. Peters for pizza night, Jeff and Sara were also there and 'us kids' went over to their house afterwards to watch a movie on jeffs ridiculously big projection screen.
Saturday... also blanking... OH! Rebecca and I went out for lunch at this new Japanese place by my parents house called the great! We had the lunch special there which was only 14 dollars for two people and it was a RIDICULOUS amount of food for two people and it was truly the best Japanese food i have ever had... the sushi roll we had was cut into pieces and it literally took me three bits to eat a piece and I have a pretty big mouth... the bbq beef melted in our mouths... the tampuraed veggies were perfect... it was just a really great lunch. I would recommend anyone to go there... its two doors down from the liquor store beside value village in Clearbrook. SO good.. Later that evening we went to Rebeccas inlaws (the Clarks) for a dinner with their family, it was so nice of them to have us over since I was there and Rebecca and Josh brought their puppy over to play with the Clarks' new puppy... they were incredibly cute to watch.
Sunday I went to Richmond with Mom and Dad and got to ride in Dad's new Minni Cooper Club- so fun. We went to my U. Werner and A. Barb's for lunch which was delicious and got to visit with most of my cousins and all of their little kids from that family... so good to see everyone, it was kinda funny because we realized that sitting at the table over half of us are now 'Albertans' because I am live in Three Hills, Mark and Bonnie and their boys live in Coledale and Jonathan, Vicki and their kids live in Ft. McMurray... who would have thought it just a few years ago- not me! Even though we all live in the same province we don't really see each other out here so it was kinda funny that we all have to meet in BC to hang out. It was really fun and so good to see everyone. Later that evening when we got back to Abby we ordered Chinese food from my fave Dragon Fort and had dinner at Mom and Dad's with Josh and Rebecca as well as George and Caroline... My flight left at 8 o'clock so had to be at the abby air port by 7 and my trip was over :(
This week I have just been hanging out at home mostly... I feel like all of a sudden I have renewed energy and motivation and have been a busy bee this week around the house, cleaning and organizing, cooking and baking... some say that this is nesting but I am usually inclined to be this way when I'm not pregnant and since my first trimester and a bit of the second completely drained me of all energy and since I was also so sick I feel like I am just making up for lost time... My rib still hurts but I am kinda getting used to it and I have a sore throat again... I think this cold/flu whatever it is is just not going anywhere... I don't think I will be able to shake it completely until the baby is born but we will see. SO now we are just gearing up for the holiday season... going to North Carolina for a week on the 23rd which is coming up quick... should be a really great visit, I cant wait. Today is a perfect Saturday for me, Jo-Ben and I hanging out and watching college football at the moment... Im getting ready to make some soup for dinner, Cauliflower Cheddar I think... this morning we had friends over for brunch and watched a Man U soccer match, I made gingerbread waffels... oh and their is a light layer of snow on the ground so we feel especially cozy staying inside today. :) Joey the pup is the only one brave enough to venture out today... its so fun to watch him, from inside! Well, this has been the longest post in history... hope you are all doing well... I have really popped out lately so I will get Jo-Ben to take a pic of me and baby boy Barkey this weekend to post soon! Take care!
